About a week or so ago, I posted a huge Rainbow Shops haul on Instagram that consisted of two large purchases from the store (one online and one in-store). I have since gone in one more time to buy MORE stuff! I don’t use the word “obsessed” but I think I can use it this time. LOL!
Let me start by saying, I literally live down the street from a Rainbow Shop. I can walk to it, and yet I rarely did! I think I had been in there once a few years ago. I got a really cute bodycon dress, but that was it! I got re-acquainted with the brand after seeing Tiffany (@lacenleopard) on Instagram with a super cute top on. She said she got it from Rainbow! I IMMEDIATELY went online to look and I was pleasantly surprised!
I bought a whole bunch of stuff in that first online order (I will try to provide links for as many of the items as I can):
This bodycon cold shoulder dress (similar one here) was an INSTANT favorite of mine. I paired it with my super cool sarong from ScaledUp LLC in this photo
I love polka dots, so when I saw this polka dot blazer on the site, I snatched it up! I paired it with my pink pencil skirt from Ashley Stewart (old).
I had been looking online for a while for a tan skirt. I checked Eloquii (they are REALLY good with skirts), Torrid, Lane Bryant, Fashion to Figure, and everywhere else and I could not find a tan skirt! I decided to look on Rainbow’s site and not only did I find one tan skirt, I found TWO! I got a pencil skirt and a really nice full skirt. I love them both very much!
I then went into the store with my daughter and picked up tops and a cute dress:
I was immediately drawn to the colors in this cute top and knew it would look cute with a pair of shorts!
I rarely buy light colored tops. But, I have a pair of olive green jeans that I was looking to pair more tops with. I saw this shirt in the store with the pretty olive and rose color accents and knew it would work with my jeans. I actually wore this very outfit to work on a casual Friday.
My blogger buddy @bakersfieldbeautyblogger hipped me to the distressed tee trend. She actually makes her own, which is super cool! I saw this one in store and had to pick it up.
This off the shoulder dress is one of my FAVORITES! It’s funny because I rarely wear straight or shift dresses. I took a chance on this one and it worked out!
As I mentioned before, I actually have been in the store again since my last visit. Keep up with me on Instagram where I post a LOT of photos on my shopping adventures.
Which outfit do you like the best? Let me know in the comments section!
